Winc was founded in 2012 by Xander Oxman and Geoff McFarlane because of a shared belief that wine should be more accessible: simpler to get and easier to enjoy. They joined forces with winemaker and sommelier Brian Smith to build a personalized wine club that has quickly grown into Winc—a California-based winery offering an online membership experience, with wines that are featured at select retailers and restaurants nationwide. Winc is a thriving community of hundreds of thousands of wine lovers that is growing everyday.
Ben and I enjoy a good glass of wine here and there. The problem is, we know nothing about wine. We know what we like, and what tastes good to us, but that's about it!!
Now with Winc, we don't have to worry about trying to pick out something to try. We tell Winc what we want, and they pick it for us!!
All we had to do was answer 6 questions to help them assess our unique tastes. They sent wines specifically chosen to match our palate, and then we rate the wines to help them give better recommendations for our next shipment.

Finkes Widow was by far my favorite. It was a sparkling wine, and was not too dry. Summer Water was also very yummy. The other two we found to be a little too dry for us, but by letting Winc know, they will now avoid sending us wines that are too dry!!
