Blue Orange Games- Spot It Holidays And Puzzle Battle Game Review

I guess you could say I am a traditionalist.  I love playing good old board games a lot more then video games.  You get more interaction with them, and to me they are just more fun and competitive.

My kids are just as competitive as I am, and love to beat Mommy and Daddy at games.  Then they remind us for the next umpteenth weeks that they beat us!!

Puzzle Battle-

Ready for a piece of the action? In this new twist, find two puzzles inside one box! The first player to put their jungle scene together will be crowned the winner! Beware: both puzzles might look identical, but colors vary and the images are reversed. It is up to you to be observant and faster than your opponent to become ruler of the jungle.

This is a terrific game to teach kids how to be more attentive and pay more attention to details.  The puzzles are very similar and it actually took my Husband and I a couple extra minutes to see the difference!!

We received the Jungle version to try out, and the pictures are very clear and colorful.  The puzzles each come with 30 pieces, so they are challenging but good for many different age groups.

There is also a Princess version as well!!

Spot it! Holidays-

Our most popular game is all decked out for the holidays! The cards come in a travel-friendly tin, perfect for stocking stuffers!  From Snowman to Candy Cane, each card is decorated with an assortment of festive symbols. What better way to spend the holidays than playing Spot it! with your friends and family!

We have a couple of the other Spot it! games and we love them!!

Again these are great learning games.  Each card has only one matching symbol to the other cards.  You have to be quick and find the match first!!  With the Holiday version you get fun pictures like snowmen, wreaths, snowflakes and Santa!!

Spot it! is a fun game for younger kids to learn, and older kids to compete!!!

Uncorked Ventures Wine Review

The concept for Uncorked Ventures emerged during a family vacation to South America. While sipping on Pisco Sours along with wines from Chile and Argentina, two brothers-in-law (Matt Krause & Mark Aselstine) discussed their passion for food and wine, as well as their desire for something different, something better.

That something different, something better is Uncorked Ventures.

My Husband and I do not pretend to be wine experts.  We just know what we like!!  Uncorked Ventures sent us two bottles of wine to try; Vina Robles and Chatom Semillon.

Vina Robles is described as a unique blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Petite Sirah.  It is a dark colored wine with plum and cherry flavors, and medium in body.  We found the wine to be perfect for a hearty meal, paired with things like steak.

The Chatom Semillon is described as a clean wine.  It has a note of cream to it, and is very crisp.  We had this wine with our cupcakes (yes very fancy huh!!)

It's that time of year again!!  The carolers are warming up their voices (even me with my horrible singing voice!) Christmas decorations are hanging up everywhere.  Kids are making out their lists for Santa, and parents are cringing with how expensive it all is!!

This is my favorite time of year.  I have already started decorating!!  Small things for right now.  I do most of the decorating Thanksgiving weekend.

With Christmas right around the corner, I am already planning how to set up my house.  We do it a little differently every year.  Especially the outside lights.  We have a blast seeing how creative we can be.  Over the last 14 years, Ben and I have collected so many ornaments that we use multiple trees.  We have ornaments to mark special occasions, places we've traveled and just because they were cute.

I was given the opportunity to work with Ornaments With Love again, and I chose a terrific ornament that shows all of my family members!!

I love how many names you can add to the ornament.  Most don't let you add more then a couple.  

I love the details of every bear, and how adorable they are.  The personalization is very neat and legible!!

I am very happy with my ornament, and I can not wait to get my tree so I can hang it up!!  Right now it is on my fireplace!!

Cuddle Barn J.Frost Singing Snowman Review And ~~Giveaway~~

My Mom is pretty easy to shop for.  She likes such a large variety of things.  When I saw the extremely cute animated friends from Cuddle Barn, I knew that was right up her alley!!

I was sent J. Frost- The Dancing Snowman.  This guy is so soft and cuddly, all I have wanted to do is sit here and hug him.  

He sings and dances to Frosty the Snowman.  It is so cute.  Don't take my word for it, watch my video!!
