If My Dog Could Talk Personalized Story Book ~Giveaway~~ #HolidayGiftGuide

Wooly From PAW5 Review And ~~Giveaway~~ #PAW5EnrichedLifeChallenge

This mat is very soft and durable.  Kevin instantly did his put it in his mouth and shake it thing.  That's what he does with all of his toys!!

Then he decided to rest for a little bit while he waited for me to add treats to the mat.

He wasn't sure why I was putting treats in it at first, but he quickly went crazy digging for them!!  He has gone back and played with the mat multiple times, and he has even napped on it!!

I like that the mat is made out of recycled fabric.  It gives my dog enjoyment, and helps the environment.

In case you couldn't tell I love puppies!!  If you follow me on Instagram, my baby, Kevin is on there all the time!!  Being a baby still, Kevin is crate trained.  He is also spoiled rotten!!  We have one crate that we picked up when we first got him, but he is getting too big for it.

I was very happy when Solvit asked me to review one of their products.  The first thing I checked out was their doggie residences.  Oh you can not call these crates.  They are like a 5 star resort for puppies!!!

I picked out Mr. Herzher's Original Wicker Dog Residence.  The doggie residence was pretty easy to assemble.  

Kevin kept watching Ben Sr the whole time wondering what it was.  Once it was built, he went right on in!!

Ignore the scary glowing eyes.  For some strange reason, all of my cameras capture dogs with glowing eyes.  Maybe they are possessed!!!

This residence is made with a sturdy plastic bottom, metal sides, and wicker outside adornments.  What I like the most about the residence is that the wicker is on the outside.  Sometimes puppies chew on things (um Kevin,) and in particular when they are in their crate and they don't want to be.  Kevin can not damage the wicker from the inside, and he leaves it alone on the outside.  

The residence is a large size and accommodates Kevin (who is roughly 15 lbs, perfectly.  He has plenty of room to move around in it.  The dimensions are 36"L x 24"W x 27"H.  Solvit also offers residences in small, medium and extra large.

Another feature I like it that the door swings both ways.  If Kevin wants to go in there and take a nap, then he can just push the door in, and it opens easily for him.  It also has two bolts on it to make sure your furry family member is secure when you are not home.  

Both Kevin and I really like this residence.  I am very happy, and will be ordering more products soon.

Petmate Dog Products Review

Our story. It was 50 years ago that Petmate created the first dog kennel at our home office in Arlington, Texas. It’s our passion for pets that drove us then and continues today.

What started with kennels has grown to encompass a full line of products and solutions for the pet industry and, more importantly, pet families. Many of our products are made in that same factory that produced the world’s very first kennel.

Petmate, an international company, continues to produce many of our products in the USA at our manufacturing facilities in Arlington, Texas. We source much of the plastic we use in our manufacturing from our Spectrum Plastics Facility, also based in Arlington. It is at this award-winning manufacturing operation that we produce nearly 80 million pounds of resin each year. We purchase post-industrial, pre-consumer, recyclable materials to reduce our carbon footprint. This past June we gained a new family member.  His name is Kevin and he is a hand full!!  We got him from a shelter so we are not 100% sure how old he is.  We think he's about 11 months.  We also think he is a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix.

Kevin is very different from The Sam.  He has no food hangups (he eats everything!!)  He also plays with a lot more toy varieties then Sam did.  Sammy was very gentle with her toys, where Kevin likes to break them apart.  We have found a couple toys that with stand his rough play, but not many.  I was very excited to give Petmates JW Megalast Glow toys a try.  

These toys are made of their durable Megalastomer material which makes them perfect for rough and tumble play.  These toys float, bounce, and hold up to all manner of play.  They glow in the dark (which is pretty cool,) and they are infused with Vanilla!!  Kevin loves his, and plays with it all the time.  So far there are no dings or dents, so I think this one is going to be a keeper!!

Petmate also carries leashes.  This is a problem area for us.  We have had Kevin for 4 months now, and have gone through just as many leashes.  He runs so fast and rough, that he snaps them easily.  So far I have found the Petmate Walkabout Glow In The Dark Retractable Leash to be staying strong against hurricane Kevin!!

I like that the leash is strong, but that it also glows in the dark!!  I can see Kevin at night when he is running around like a mad man!!
