As a parent of two kids, you learn quickly what you must have for your kids, and what you don't really need. One thing you must have is a reliable and safe car seat.
Both of my boys were premature, so we needed a special seat for them to come home before they weighed 5 lbs. Then we needed a standard seat for infants. After that came the toddler seat, and last but not least the booster seat. My 8 year old complains about still having to sit in a booster seat, but he is not the right size to be without it yet. I do not take risks with my kids!!

Oh and it is very comfortable!! Doug is still young enough to need the 5-point harness, so he was beyond excited when the new seat came in!! He jumped right in, and said it was very comfy and nice!!
